One of the best sounds in the world!!

Last night while I was sleeping, I heard the little pitter pat of a little one running down the hall. Than it went quiet and then the toilet flushed.Yeah!!! He is finally doing it. I am still putting him to bed in a diaper. He tore that diaper off and went potty. Than he went back to bed, yes you guessed it no bottoms and didnt have an accident. I am Sooooooo excited. I cant wait till he is all potty trained.

Betty Crocker, not yet!

So I have been learning how to make cinnamon rolls, I got a recipe and taught myself. They are alot of work but really yummy. I love cooking I just dont always have the time or energy for it. But when I put my mind to it, its starting to turn out good. Below is a picture of the goodies I made for youth conference. I was in charge of cookies. You know me I cant just do one kind I need variety. I took a picture of my snickerdoodles, sugar cookies and pumpkin chocolate chip. I just thought it was funny it looked like I could open a bakery with just a few more goodies. Anyways any yummy recipes you have, send my way, thanks Tara

My little Cowboy!!

So we have been doin some pretty serious potty trainin. I am thankful for moments like this that remind me what a cute sweet boy he is so I dont scream. The other day he came out of his room dressed like this. He did his costume all by himself. We were giggling and had to grab the camera as he wandered back down the hall. He makes me smile everyday and I love him so much potty or no potty....

Little Buddies

Nick came into the kitchen on saturday night and said,"Tara go look at your kids" I hurried down the hall and found this. The two little ones sitting up to Brady's little table playin away. I am so glad they get along(most the time). Brady still gets a little frustrated with his little sis getting in all his stuff. She is growin so quickly. She totally walks all the time, all over the house. He liked it before when he could keep things out of her reach. little cuties!

Happy Birthday Dear Charlee!!

Today Charlee is 12, I cant believe it. Below is a picture from last year. I am trying to figure how she could have changed so much over the last year and how there can be such a big difference between 11 and 12. Well I am so grateful for my charlee bear. She keeps me in line. 12 years ago at 10:45 a.m. SHe entered my life, she was this beautiful tiny baby, with tons of thick black hair. I was only 18 and thought I knew what I was about to get myself into. I remember the moment so perfect so clear when they set her in my arms. I was overcome with the most amazing purest love I had ever felt. I had no idea I could love someone that I just met so much. She was perfect. THe dr. said she was 99.9 percent perfect. She had a birthmark on her right eyelid till she was about 6 months and then it disappeared. She started sleeping thru the night at 2 weeks. 9 to 9. She was my babydoll and then she turned into this adorable little toddler. She was 100 percent girly girl. She wore these little rings for years till they got to tight. Once she got new rings she figured out that they come off I dont think she knew. She has been such a blessing to my life. She has made me want to be a better person since the moment we met. Cheers to you Charlee girl, my pretty young woman.

Say Hi to your new Pta President!

So I was looking through some pictures looking for a picture where I looked like a PTA President.I could not find one. So I put a picture of me at Ella's party. I usually take the pictures, so I am not in many of them. I know what your thinking all kinds of people are PTA Presidents. But I imagine this well put together, organized, soft spoken, did I say organized ok I will say it again. I guess what I am getting at is I was floored me when the principal called to ask me if I would do this. I am the president Elect this year and the president next year. When I talked to one of my great friends about some of my shortcomings that I wasnt sure I could do this. She kindly let me know I have a whole year to prepare myself. That was good advice. I feel really good about this. I love kids and I love school. I love kids to get a great education and I love for them to have a great time doing it. I do not know of all the detail of my upcoming job. I do know that it has helped me to get some things in perspective and it has made me want to work on my short comings and be a better mom. I am so grateful for the great support system I have, that I know will help me along the way...thank you

She did it again!!

So Charlee was up to the challenge again and she decided she would drag her best friend Cassidy along. They did it again. I dont want to seem like I am bragging. I am just so proud of them. I find it great motivation to me that they dont give up!
I couldn't help but giggle at all the work we all put into getting fit and heres my little Ella wandering around without a shirt on. I thought wow you got to love that little chubby belly hangin over her pants. If we could only love ourselves more for the way we are...

Go Charlee Go!!!

I would like to do a little shout out to my Charlee bear. She has been wanting to run a 5k so bad and I just have not know if she could do it. Last summer running 2 miles was like a form of torture. This year her running has improved a ton. Well today she announced she would like to run 4 miles today. So we compromised and decide we would run 3 miles. Well we drove our course to the lake and back I showed her where the 2 mile mark would be so we could for sure get in her 2 miles. Off we went and guess what she did it!!! I am so proud of her. She pretty much is ready for the school 5 k coming. THe only time she cried is when I told her we should run one more block. She is so emotional right now so it doesnt take much. Way to go Char.
